Dear Sister Chandrani Are the thoughts Chittha, Chithasikaexplained in AbhidhAmma, Humans or Deitys .. I think Deities minds are finer and more powerful than ours. Abhidamma was for them.. So ... how do we understand this fact.. I believe Dhamma in 17000 Sutthas are enough for us ... or knowing more about the mind would help our journey.. Budusaranai...

Budusaranai... Dear Sister Chandrani I like to know your view on Metta meditation... how one can go to samadhi level in mettha. Thank you
  Sis Chandrani replied :
Sujatha, Samadi is concentration. To develop concentration we use an object of meditation. So you con use metta as an objecct of meditation. For e.g. a phrase like May the mind be peaceful. can be used as the object of meditation. Samadi is keeping focused on one object or be in the present moment. The consciousness does not condition in other sence bases. IT TURNS TO VITAKKA AND VICARA. Give it a try and see. With metta Sis. Chandrani

When we are mindful does that mean we are sensitive.
  Sis. Chandrani replied :
Mindfulness means paying attention without the personality concept. So there will be no sensitive feelings. It is a way of noting the feelings without becoming. If we have a sensitive feeling mindfulness can note it. Mindfulness can watch the feelings and other states of mind. It is a faculty we develop but feelings and other states of mind they condition. As a result mindfulness can stop the feelings leading to action or resultent kamma.
  Sue replied :
What can you do make a sensitive mind a strong one...
