This is a golden opportunity to learn and practice Buddha's teachings which is known as Dhamma. Those who practice diligently are "Sangha". Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha are the three virtues.

Buddha showed a path to liberate this mind and body from suffering. All living beings are subject to suffering or in simple words subject to "worry and fear" worry about health, falling sick, growing old, changes in the appearances of the body, wanting this and that or not wanting. As a result go around looking and searching for ways and means for happiness and pleasure and to hold on to it permanently. Buddha showed to the world a path to liberate this mind and body from suffering.

A noble path to liberate this mind from all defilements or unwholesome mental factors. Buddha's teachings are mainly based on understanding, practise and realization of ultimate realities of this body and mind.

Dhamma has three aspects:
1. Study
2. Practise
3. Realization

Study is mainly based on Buddha's teaching or learning about this body and mind, discipline and guidance.
Practise is the training based on developing - virtue, concentration and wisdom.
Realization is the deep penetration of this superamundane path and attainment of
this noble fruits.
Each of these is the foundation for the next. Study provides the guidance to practise and practise brings the breakthrough to realization.
